MOUNDRIDGE, Kan. – December 4, 2009 – Grasshopper announces a new 72-inch DuraMax FrontMount deck with
standard PowerFold electric height adjustment.
The exclusive PowerFold feature allows operators to lift the massive six-foot deck effortlessly at the touch of a switch, providing greater accessibility to the underside of the deck for simplified maintenance and mulching package installation, as well as space-saving portability and storage.
PowerFold controls both cutting height and deck lift functions with a single switch. Select an infinite range of cutting heights between 1.0 and 4.5 inches or return to a preset height every time. An optional armrest switch allows cutting height adjustment on the fly.
The full-featured Model 3472 converts easily from standard side discharge to optional DownDischarge mulching or PowerVac collection for a manicured cut in a wide variety of conditions.
