Bobcat Discontinues OEM Tractor Agreement

Statement from Bobcat: Five years ago, Bobcat entered into the compact tractor market, using an outside vendor to manufacture the tractors, and branding the tractors under the Bobcat name. The five-year contract with our tractor supplier is ending, and we are not going to renew it. We have made the decision to exit the tractor business and focus on our core products.

Bobcat will continue to serve the acreage owner and personal use market segments with products like utility vehicles, utility work machines and skid-steer loaders. Bobcat is also a market leader in buildings and grounds and landscaping market segments. We will continue to serve those market segments with our core products.

We realize this decision has an impact on Bobcat dealers. We are working with each individual dealer to assist with selling remaining inventory, and to help with the transition from the line of tractors. We will continue to provide customer support for Bobcat tractors through parts, service and warranty.

Guys, don't get your tailfeathers all ruffled up. Kioti was the builder and is a good strong company.
You will continue to be able to get parts through Kioti dealers. As far as John Deere, yeah go w/ Deere and pay a lot more for a tractor that in some respects isn't as good as the Kioti/Bobcat. They (Kioti) do build a very good tractor.
So everyone calm down. It will be ok.

This is why John Deere is a good alternative to this

Kioti is the company that built the tractors for Bobcat. Most parts are the same but Bobcat did have a few things changed for them.
No more Bobcat Tractors

Now that Doosan has decided not to badge tractors with the Bobcat name, are they still being manufactured under any other name? how about telling us who the "outside vendor" is so we can contact them directly for replacement parts?

What the heck bobcat??? Nothing like screwing folks out of thousands of dollars for a machine and then leave the market and the owners high and dry! I will be sure to dump this at the earliest opportunity!
