Antonio Carraro Introduces 2012 Calendar with Exhibition
Padua, Italy, November 9, 2011 — The prestigious Centro Culturale Altinate/San Gaetano community center in Padua, Italy, home of tractor manufacturer Antonio Carraro, will present an exhibition of the company's 2012 calendar, titled "C'era una volta, once upon a time...."
While the exhibition will feature historical pictures taken from AC calendars of the past, whose first edition dates from 1964, images from the 2012 edition will be at the center of the exhibit.
This year's calendar is comprised of 12 photos in which AC tractors are matched with women in costumes. "Each 'fairy tale' narrates, ironically though elegantly, a romantic tale of a lady and her tractor," says the company's marketing department in a press release. "The lady-bee, the Indian girl, the sexy marshal's wife, lady Burlesque, and then Gretel, the brewer's wife.
The actresses in these stories include Aisha Howard, a model from the U.S. who is matched with the four-track Mach4 tractor." According to the release, the "two together tell the love story of a natural beauty (human) and a technical outsider (the quadtrack Mach4) on a midsummer night's evening on a moonlit, Mediterranean beach... because it is not a sin to dream, says the calendar."
The photographic exhibition of the AC Calendar 2012 will take place from November 22-27, 2011. In the evening of November 24, a party at the community center is planned for friends and fans of the brand.
