This all-new 7-part video series features the Rogersville, Mo., store of S&H Farm Supply, which does $9 million in revenue and was named the 2011 Rural Lifestyle Dealership of the Year.
Headquartered in Lockwood, Mo., the four-store company is well known in southwestern Missouri as a farm equipment dealer. But with more of its customers selling off farmland to rural consumers, S&H had to adapt its sales and inventory strategies in order to attract consumers, professional landscapers, and large property owners.
In the video series, Rural Lifestyle Dealer's editors interview S&H Farm Supply President Eric Schnelle. He discusses the unique needs of the rural lifestyle customer and how it differs from the production farmer, how S&H has strengthened its brand and optimized its web presence, and provides proven tips and tactics for taking on a new product line. Schnelle also shares business lessons learned in the wake of May's deadly tornado in Joplin, Mo., where the S&H dealership there was spared.
