CHARLOTTE, N.C. (April 27, 2010) — For the first time in the company’s history, Dixon Mowers has introduced a line of lawn tractors. Dixon Unveils Lawn Tractor Line

Designed for the rigors of commercial applications, but with all of the comfort and amenities that homeowners expect, these new tractors offer unparalleled performance at an affordable price.

These three new tractors offer a range of options for homeowners and professionals alike without sacrificing quality.

The D22KH46 yard tractor is powered by a 22HP, twin cylinder Kohler engine and has a 2 blade, 46” cutting width. The unit is loaded with such features as a hydrostatic pedal control transmission, electric push button blade engagement, cruise control and deluxe comfort features from seat to steering wheel.

The D25KH48 has all of the same features as the D22KH46 but, carries a more robust 25HP, twin cylinder Kohler engine and has a wider, 48” cutting width making it ideal for larger mowing areas.

For true multi-functional use, the D26KH54 features a 26HP, twin cylinder Kawasaki FR engine that carries a 3-year consumer warranty and a 54” cutting width. In addition to the features on the other mowers, the D26KH54 is the first true garden tractor with a factory-mounted sleeve hitch for ground engaging attachments, a high back seat with arm rests, premium gauges and controls and upgraded front bumper.

“The riding mower market has been traditionally under-featured and we wanted to make sure that we could not only produce a quality product, but also deliver on features that make sense for users,” said Brian Rowan, Director of Product Management; Tractors.  “No detail was overlooked when creating these tractors.”
