Mahindra Tractor Sales Rise 21% April - November 2011
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.'s Farm Equipment Sector (FES) reported that its sales for April through November 2011 grew by 2% vs. the same period of 2010.
Domestic sales in November 2011 slipped to 16,175 units vs. 16,975 units during November last year.
Total tractor sales (domestic + exports) in November 2011 stood at 17,527 units, compared to 17,993 units for the same period last year.
For the period April to November 2011, total cumulative sales stood at 166,885 units compared to 137,931 units for the same period last year, an increase of 21%.
Exports for the month stood at 1,352 units, an increase of 33% over the corresponding period last year.
