Tumac Outdoor Expanding Walla Walla Storefront

WALLA WALLA — Tumac Outdoor, a John Deere dealership that also carries other outdoor equipment, has expanded its Walla Walla store at 902 W. Rose St., moving into the vacant showroom next door.
To celebrate its larger footprint, Tumac Outdoor has scheduled its annual Demo Days from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 10 at the expanded location. It's an opportunity to drop in and test drive lawnmowers, small tractors and landscaping equipment.
There will also be a barbecue featuring Traeger grills, a display by Wenzel Nursery, Washington State University Extension Master Gardeners on site, a display by TumacOutdoor Supply.com, a bouncy house for children and ice cream from Schwan's.
Tumac has four stores, two in Walla Walla, one in Dayton and another in Lewiston, Idaho. Tumac's e-store, www.tumac outdoor.com, is based in Milton-Freewater.
"We are totally focused on being the premier supplier of high-quality tractors, landscaping and outdoor equipment in Eastern Washington and Eastern Oregon," said Michael McClure, co-owner and general manager.
Tumac provides sales, parts and service support for Kubota tractors and landscaping equipment, Honda Power Equipment, Traeger Grills, Husqvarna Outdoor Equipment and more for farmers, local governments, schools, commercial landscapers, equestrians and the general public.
With the expansion, many products that were available only from Tumac's eStore can now be purchased on site.
Tumac Outdoor has also added several staff members, bringing the total number of employees at the Rose Street store to seven, McClure said.
James Veatch is the new parts manager for the outdoor store and manager of Tumac's e-store. He previously worked with several agricultural supply and internet companies.
Justin Laib has joined the staff as a Yamaha certified technician and has 10 years of experience working with Kubota and Honda products.
