Todd Teske was named chairman of Briggs & Stratton Corp. on Aug. 11. He was elected president and CEO of the small-engine manufacturing company in January. He will become chairman at the conclusion of the company's annual meeting in October and will remain president and CEO. 

Teske is a 1983 graduate of Green Bay Southwest High School. He received a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

Briggs & Straton, which has its headquarters in Milwaukee, is a producer of gasoline engines for outdoor power equipment. It also manufactures portable generators and pressure washers.
