The Assn. of Equipment Manufacturers' recent report shows tractor sales were strong in Canada for the month of January.
In Canada, 2WD tractors under 40 horsepower were up 8.8% for January compared with January last year; tractors 40-100 horsepower were up 12.3%; and tractors 100 horsepower and higher were up 25.1%.
In the U.S., 2WD tractors under 40 horsepower were up 5.9% for January compared with January last year; tractors 40-100 horsepower were up 2.3%; and tractors 100 horsepower and higher were down 1.5%.
