BRILLION, Wis. (Oct. 25, 2013) — Ariens introduces the new All Purpose Vacuum (APV) for effectively picking up leaves, litter and other debris. A zipperless bag design simplifies emptying debris, and the Rite-Hite Handlebar Adjustment allows for height customization and easy storage.
“The new APV is a versatile piece of equipment ideal for residential yard cleanup and commercial property maintenance,” explains Michelle Kopecky, associate product marketing manager for Ariens Company. “Key features on the new model, including the zipperless bag, make operation easier and more efficient and further enhance the APV’s versatility.”
Available with a self-propelled or push drive system, the APV features a powerful Subaru 190cc Overhead Cam engine and 31-inch sweeping width. Producing 1,775 cubic feet of airflow per minute (cfm), the APV provides superior suction.
The unique Rite-Hite Handlebar Adjustment system offers operators five handlebar height positions for a comfortable working experience. The system also makes storage easier with the option to keep handlebars straight up and down or completely folded over to fit into small areas. Removing and replacing the bag is also easier by adjusting handlebars to the upright position during bag removal.
The bag itself is a zipperless, wire-formed bag, making it easy and fast to empty. Made of poly-felt material, the bag also includes an integrated dust skirt to protect the operator from dust and debris that may seep through the bag.
Another unique feature is the APV’s suction height adjustment. Operators can simply push down on a lever and move the pin into one of 17 positions from zero to five inches depending on the type of terrain being vacuumed.
Additional features include:
- Durable, 12-gauge steel fan housing
- Large 14-inch wheels for enhanced maneuverability
- Optional accessories, including a hose kit with 7-inch hose, block off plate and hose routing support; and a mesh bag for wet conditions
The Ariens All Purpose Vacuums are covered by a one-year limited warranty. For more information, visit www.ariens.com.
