RED WING, Minn. – Red Wing Software announces the release of a new function with CenterPoint Payroll Software that allows employers to track and report required Affordable Care Act (ACA) information for tax filing purposes.
The new feature allows employers to track ACA information so it will appear on forms 1094-C and 1095-C. Current CenterPoint Payroll users can now download and install this newest version, 9.18, even though the final versions of forms 1094-C and 1095-C will not be available until the week of December 21, 2015, when Red Wing Software releases the end-of-year tax forms and tax table updates. Customers will automatically be prompted to perform an update when the forms are ready.

Many employers need to file forms 1094-C and 1095-C, and without the ability to track the corresponding information in their payroll system, they would need to search for the information and fill out these forms manually. Having this report available helps our customers save time and feel confident knowing they can eFile forms 1094-C and 1095-C in 2016, for the 2015 tax year,” says Ken Hilton, Red Wing Software President.
Red Wing Software has remained consistent in its support for employers to stay compliant with ACA requirements, having previously released tools for tracking employee status with an “Hours Worked” report. The ACA reporting tools are all included as standard reports within CenterPoint Payroll.
