AGCO has announced plans to relocate its Stockton, Calif., Parts Distribution Center (PDC) to Visalia, Calif. The expanded new facility will provide multiple benefits to AGCO's West Coast dealer network.

AGCO's new Visalia PDC will provide improved shipping times to western regional customers and dealers, including improvements for those who will receive expedited, next day delivery. In addition, the Visalia PDC will offer a significant increase in square footage over AGCO's current Stockton, Calif location.

"Improvements in AGCO's next-day parts delivery combined with the tremendous investments made by our AGCO dealers to improve their service levels will generate uptime and better margins for our current and future customers," says Joe DiPietro, vice president and general manager, AGCO Parts, Americas.

The new AGCO facility will additionally feature the first AGCO-owned training facility on the West Coast. The training center will provide a dedicated facility for AGCO dealers to receive technical training, parts training and sales training on AGCO equipment and systems to better support their customers.

"By partnering with the new Visalia PDC, we look forward to providing to our dealers in the western United States training on key products for this area, and will be able to provide training year round," says Mark Brungardt, manager technical training, AGCO, North America.

"We are excited about the possibilities of this new location," says Scott Ward, supply chain and customer service director for AGCO Parts, North America. "The Visalia location will significantly improve our supply chain capabilities to allow us to better serve the Western region."

To ensure consistency in the supply chain, AGCO will be extending relocation offers to those employees located in the existing Stockton PDC.
