CHICAGO – Echo‘s takes the popular features of the straight shaft SRM-225 and the curved shaft GT-225 to offer its curved shaft trimmer, the GT-225L. The new trimmer will be on display at the upcoming GIE+EXPO show in Louisville, Ky.

For those who prefer curved shaft trimmers, the GT-225L is 7 inches longer than the GT-225 and 3 inches longer than today’s GT-230. The 55-inch shaft length provides extended reach for more comfortable trimming and access to hard-to-reach places. It has the same GT left hand grip which can easily adjust and rotate for operator comfort and edging. It uses the same shield with 16-inch cutting swath, and the same ball bearing supported trimmer head for heavy- duty, long- lasting durability.

The GT-225L uses the same 21.2cc power head of the SRM-225 design. The GT-225L is priced $20 lower than the SRM-225 at $199.99. It comes with Echo’s standard 5-year consumer warranty and 2-year commercial warranty.
