RDO Turns Deere Gator into Emergency Vehicle for First Responders

When the volunteer Christine Fire and Rescue Department was looking to improve its ability for water rescue and recovery, off-road rescue and recovery, and off-road fire suppression, the solution came in the form of a customized John Deere Gator emergency utility vehicle.

RDO Product Specialist Carson Laney, a volunteer first responder with Christine Fire and Rescue, utilized his years of community service experience to build a vehicle that would meet the department’s needs. Painted firetruck red and equipped with a 70-gallon water tank and a bed designed to hold a rescue basket or Stokes basket, the customized XUV835M John Deere Gator is a multifunction emergency response vehicle.

Watch how this John Deere Gator loaded with unique features makes it a valuable fire and rescue tool for the volunteer Christine Fire and Rescue Department and the community members it serves.
