The sub-40hp tractor segment led segment losses in August again, down 16%, according to the latest data from the Assn. of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM).
Total compact tractor sales in the U.S. came in at 13,880 in August, down 16% year-over-year vs. 16,518 units sold in August 2021. Year-to-date sales were 127,127, down 17.6% year-over-year.
In Canada, compact tractor sales totaled 1,498 in August, up 0.6% year-over-year. Year to date Canadian compact tractor sales were 13,228, down 8.5% year-over-year.
