Husqvarna's net sales in the 4Q22 increased by 26% to $982 million. Organic sales growth was 8%, changes in exchange rates contributed with 14% and acquisitions with 4%.
Operating income in the fourth quarter was $164.7 million and the operating margin –16.8%. Excluding items affecting comparability, operating income was $1.3 million and the operating margin –0.1%.
For the full year 2022, net sales increased by 15% to $5,122.7 million. Organic sales growth was –1%, changes in exchange rates contributed with 9% and acquisitions with 7%. Operating income was $288.5 million and the operating margin 5.6%.
Husqvarna's Forest & Garden division's net sales for 4Q22 increased by 30% and amounted to $643.9 million. The organic sales growth was 15% and currency effects contributed with 15%. Sales of robotic mowers was strong, driven by an improved supply chain situation, continued good demand and re-stocking among trade partners for the coming season. Net sales increased by 10% to $3,041 million.
