According to a Feb. 14 report from Dealer News, Taiwan-based ATV and engine manufacturer TGB has announced it will re-enter the U.S. market.

“It is time to play different,” TGB Chairman Michael Chang told Dealer News. “We are very pleased to bring TGB off-road products back to the American continent... We believe TGB can offer something better for this marketplace… There are plenty of opportunities for TGB UTVs to play different and to grow in North America.”

TBG was founded in 1965 as a component supplier for scooter manufacturers and now has a global dealer network. The company is currently building its North American dealer network.

The 1000cc UTV that TGB plans to bring to the North American market features:

  • 997cc V-Twin SOHC engine producing 83 horsepower
  • 4WD turf mode
  • 4WD / 2WD Switchable Front & Rear Differentials
  • Hill Descent Control
  • CVT Belt Protection System
  • Disc brakes

Rural Lifestyle Dealer covered TGB's first entry into North America back in 2018.
