The Pioneer Equipment Dealers Association says its board of directors have decided to provide an additional $500 to each 2023-24 Pioneer EDA Scholarship award, citing rising tuition costs.  Recipients will now receive a total of $2000 — $1500 from the association and $500 from the dealer — to further their education in the equipment industry, the association says. Additionally, scholarship amounts for the 2024-25 school year will be increased to $2500 — $1500 from the association and $1000 from the dealer.

The Pioneer Equipment Dealers Association says it is committed to partnering with equipment dealers to provide funds to help students attend school for training that is applicable to dealers' needs. Equipment dealer members within the states of Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota are eligible to participate in the Pioneer EDA Scholarship Program, association says, and the scholarship is available for current or future full-time employees in all areas of dealership operations, including sales, service, parts and management.
