New Holland Launches World's First Handicap Accessible Tractor

New Holland has commercially launched the world’s first accessible tractor. The TL5 ‘Acessível’ (Accessible in Brazilian Portuguese), produced at the Brand’s plant in Curitiba, has been designed for people with lower limb disabilities, enabling them to work in fields independently.

Remembering Avon, Ill., Deere Dealer Bill Maloney

Machinery Pete was in Avon, IL this week advance filming for Machinery Pete TV Show coverage of the Neff Co. dealer retirement auction August 14, 2023 by Sullivan Auctioneers for legendary John Deere farm equipment dealer Bill Maloney and learned Maloney just passed away July 31, 2023 at age 93. Pete talks with local Prairie City, IL farmer Aaron Blout whose family has had 4 generations deal on equipment with Bill Maloney. Blout shares stories and fond memories of Maloney and how he helped and worked with area farmers and also supported local community efforts for decades.

This is the 50th anniversary of the British Lawn Mower Racing Association, and in early August, they held their annual race: A grueling overnight event of 500 laps, complete with pit crews. This year's race took 14 hours! Teams were allowed to rotate up to three drivers.
