A total of 17,084 under 40 horsepower tractors were sold in the U.S. in April 2024, according to the latest data from the Assn. of Equipment Manufacturers. (AEM). This represents a 5.4% year-over-year decline from 18,068 units sold in April 2023. Year to date sales U.S. sales were 43,187, down 12.9% year-over-year.
Canadian compact tractor sales in April 2024 rose 2.2% to 1,302 units sold. AEM reported 3,583 units have been sold year to date in 2024, down 16.4% year-over-year.
