John Deere reported $3.2 billion in second quarter small agriculture and turf net sales in its latest earnings report, down 23% year-over-year from $4.2. billion last year.
Small agriculture and turf sales decreased for the quarter as a result of lower shipment volumes, partially offset by price realization. Operating profit decreased due to lower shipment volumes, partially offset by price realization.
For its fiscal year 2024, Deere is forecasting small ag and turf net sales to be down 20-25%.
