The redesign was driven by feedback from dealers and operators who wanted additional configuration options, improved skid shoe functionality, more surface-specific solutions, and greater flexibility for different snow conditions.

Rather than creating multiple platforms for different applications, Virnig focused on developing a streamlined platform capable of serving a broader range of customers and machine configurations. The result is a more versatile lineup that delivers greater value while maintaining the durability and performance Virnig customers have come to expect.

Two Auger Options for Different Snow Conditions

To better match operator preferences and application needs, Virnig now offers two auger styles:

  • Paddle Auger — Best suited for compacted snow and icy conditions
  • Spiral Auger — Ideal for lighter, more consistent snow conditions such as powder
