Woods Equipment Co. says it has created two senior management positions to streamline the organizational structure of the company and better serve its customers and grow its business.

Effective immediately, Gerald D. Johnson is appointed as president or the Products Division, which includes the agricultural and turf, skid steer and construction equipment attachments businesses of Woods.

All functions in those businesses will report to Johnson, including manufacturing operations, engineering, distribution/logistics, strategic sourcing, sales and marketing.

“Combining the ag-turf-skid steer and CE businesses into one division allows us to better share the talent and best practices within those formerly separate organizations,” Johnson said. “ I am excited about the opportunities to grow our business with our exceptional employees and wealth of brand equity in Woods, Alitec, Gill, Central Fabricators, Wain-Roy and Gannon products.”

Robert Darr, vice-president of sales, immediately assumes responsibility for the CE attachment sales team and continues leading the ag-turf-skidsteer sales team, the company says.

Also effective immediately, William A. Stuckert was named president of the Aftermarket Parts Division. As President of the TISCO® parts distribution business, Mr. Stuckert will lead and direct all of those business operations with all functions reporting to him.

Stuckert discussed TISCO’s future, saying “TISCO is poised to capitalize on a variety of growth and continuous improvement projects in 2010 that will certainly add to our short-term annual results as well as position us for the future. I appreciate the talent and support of each member of our team and depend on their continued contributions for our future successes.”
