HAMPTON, Ga. (Aug. 3, 2012) – Scag Power Equipment, along with their regional distributor, Power Tool Company, and Atlanta Motor Speedway (AMS) announce a six-year partnership to help the speedway maintain its 887-acre facility.

Scag is now the Official Lawn Mower of Atlanta Motor Speedway.  A group of Turf Tiger Dual-Fuel zero-turn riders and Pro-V walk-behind mowers was delivered to AMS by Power Tool Company in late July.  Mason Tractor and Equipment, the local authorized Scag dealer in McDonough, GA, is the Official Mower Service Provider of AMS.

Scag Power Equipment is a division of Metalcraft of Mayville Inc., and is one of the largest independent manufacturers of commercial mowing equipment in the country. Metalcraft manufactures its products in two facilities, located in the Wisconsin towns of Mayville and West Bend.

“We are very excited and proud that Scag mowers will be maintaining the grounds at the world-class facility, Atlanta Motor Speedway,” said Chris Frame, Director of Marketing and Technical Services at Scag. “Our products are second to none and our highly-skilled employees ensure that they remain that way. It’s an honor for us to showcase the results of our hard work to the world through our involvement with AMS.”

"Atlanta Motor Speedway prides itself on having almost 900 acres of beautifully manicured grounds, and to bring Scag mowers in to groom them is a perfect match,” said Dennis Mills, Operations Superintendent at Atlanta Motor Speedway. “Scag’s reputation for service and quality is well known, and my operations staff is thrilled to be using these exceptional mowers.”
