Bush Hog Inc., a division of the Alamo Group, recently held its 58th National Sales Meeting in Prattville, AL.  This year’s event occurred June 25th and 26th at the Marriott Prattville Hotel and Conference Center at Capital Hill located adjacent to the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail.

The annual meeting brings the Company’s sales team together in order to introduce new products and sales programs for the upcoming year.  Also, and more importantly, it provides “a time to share our vision for the upcoming year,” said Jerry Worthington, Bush Hog’s President.  “We want the sales reps to realize that it takes the entire team in order for Bush Hog to experience growth and success as we move forward!”

At this year’s meeting, several new products were introduced to include the BH10 and BH20 single spindle rotary cutters, a line of overseeders and drills known as the Speed Seeder Series, pull disc harrows, wide area dirt scrapers, and several compact implements.  “It is crucial that part of our continued growth is new product development,” stated Marc Ivey, Bush Hog’s Product Development Manager.  “We must continue to grow our core product line of rotary cutters, while seeking to diversify with gap products such as these in order to compete in our ever changing marketplace,” continued Ivey.

During the annual awards banquet Rick Pummell, Executive Vice President of the Alamo Ag Division, applauded the efforts of the entire team at Bush Hog.   “The Bush Hog workforce has been dedicated and committed to bring the company’s legendary name back to prominence in today’s marketplace since the Alamo Group’s acquisition in 2009!  We are proud to have Bush Hog as part of the Alamo Group.”

In 2013, Bush Hog celebrates 62 years of market leadership in rotary cutters and tractor attachments.  The company has been located in Selma, Alabama since its inception.
