CHICAGO – Echo announces its CS-361P arborist chainsaw,  designed for professionals who prefer a rear handle configuration at a competitive price point. Echo arborist chainsaw

The CS-361P is powered by a 35.8 cc professional-grade engine, which has 15% more power than Echo’s CS-352 rear handle saw. The saw is also half a pound lighter than the CS-352 and weighs 8.3 pounds.

Based on the Echo CS-355T top handle saw, the compact design features an automatic, adjustable clutch-driven oiler that reduces oil consumption. The top-mounted, tool-less access air filter, is positioned away from dust and debris. Its G-Force Engine Air Pre-cleaner  reduces air filter maintenance.

The chainsaw is available in 14- or 16-inch bar lengths and uses a premium guide bar with tall profile and multi-rivet nose.

The chain itself is the premium 91PXL style which has hardened, extended life cutters for longer life.

The new saw can be purchased under Echo’s new Arborist Fleet Discount program. The program was introduced earlier this year to reward arborists and tree care companies who purchase Echo chain saws, power pruners and related accessories and offers discounts and financing.

The program contains two tiers. To qualify, a customer purchases a minimum of $1,500 or $2,500 worth of product from a single dealer.  Once the purchase threshold is achieved in one of these tiers, discounts starting at 16% apply toward future purchases for the next 12 months from date of purchase.

All Echochain saws come with 1- year commercial and 5-year consumer warranties. The CS-361P also falls under Echo’s 7-day, money-back guarantee.
