LITTLETON, Colo. — Charter Software's flagship dealership management software, ASPEN, now has Yamaha Dealer System (YDS) integration. With this new feature, ASPEN users can submit parts orders through ASPEN directly to YDS, eliminating the need to rekey parts orders by hand. Dealers using ASPEN business management system will improve parts department efficiency by significantly reducing hours of manual parts order entry.

“Our growth in becoming the leading provider of software in the golf car distributor industry has been exponential. We also have several agricultural and construction dealers who also carry Yamaha products, so this integration impacts a large number of distributors and dealers. We see the integration with leading OEM’s, like our partner Yamaha, as another way we can help dealers increase productivity, decrease data entry time, and have more time to focus on what matters — their customers,” Charter Software President and CEO Anne Salemo says. “ASPEN’s tight integration with leading suppliers’ back-end systems helps businesses to maintain close communication with whom they work.”

Earlier this month the company announced ASPEN Integrator, a software module that allows dealers to integrate with almost any third party vendor.
