SELMA, Ala. — Bush Hog recently expanded its hay tools lineup with the new BSRE hay rake, DHM series of disc mowers and a BHT tedder line, all manufactured in the U.S.

The new BSRE line of economy wheel V-rakes manufactured:

  • 8- and 10-wheel versions
  • Operating widths from 16 1/2-21 feet
  • Simple cam adjustable, rake time pressure system that allows the operator to match ground condition and crop type
  • High clearance frame to handle heavy crop volumes
  • Leading rake wheel on each wing of the 10-wheel model
  • Optional kicker wheel kit on all BSRE rake models for quicker drying

The new DHM line features for models of disc mowers for a wide range of tractor sizes and hay product operations:

  • Cutting widths from nearly 7 feet-10-1/2 feet
  • Performance tested in both heavy and light crop conditions with reduced wrapping and plugging
  • Cutter bar stiffener employed on wider models for strength across cut
  • Oval shaped discs for smoother flow across the cutter for more consistent drying
  • Twin cutter blades under each disc to prevent clogging
  • Standard crop dividers on all four models to prevent overlap

Bush Hog also introduced a new BHT tedder line that features:

  • 2- and 4-basket configurations
  • Operating widths from 10 1/2-19 1/2 feet
  • Rectangular steel frame construction and U-joint connections between the center and wing section on the two 4-basket models
  • Overrunning clutch to protect the drive system
  • Retractable driveline holder and full sized adjustable jackstand
  • Highway light kits on the two 4-basket offerings, along with a combo hydraulic hose/electrical pigtail holder
