Briggs & Stratton Corp. is considering three different southeastern Wisconsin communities for a roughly 700,000-square-foot building to consolidate local shipping operations, according to the Milwaukee Business Journal.

Three developers currently are competing for that deal, which is among the largest industrial projects up for grabs in southeastern Wisconsin’s real estate market, according to the story. The Wauwatosa-based small engine and generator manufacturer has narrowed its search to Germantown, Wauwatosa and Yorkville, according to sources who spoke on condition of anonymity because Briggs has not officially announced its plans.
