The models include a six-passenger Prowler Pro Crew XT and the three- and six-passenger Ranch editions. The Ranch editions offer premium accessories and a custom Atomic Copper color.
Rachel Luken Thompson, vice president of turf for Textron Specialized Vehicles, the parent company of Jacobsen, highlights the company's new commercial zero-turn lines, the ZT900 and ZT1000. The mowers range from 27-35 horsepower with options for Kawasaki or Kohler EFI engines. Features include keyless entry, isolated operator platform and larger tires and fuel tank than the existing commercial series.
The series includes 10 different models. The Eagle is offered with either a 54- or 60-inch cutting deck. The Eagle HP offers more power and either 60-, 66- or 72-inch cutting decks.
The company has entered into a manufacturing and supply agreement with Textron Specialized Vehicles and will offer UTV models sold through participating Cat dealerships starting in 2018.
The company will transition all side-by-sides and ATVs to become part of the Textron Off Road brand. The Arctic Cat brand will remain in use on the snowmobile product lines.
The vehicle will be available this spring. It features on-demand all-wheel drive, electronic power steering, front and rear sway bars for increased traction and handling, 2,000 lb. of towing capacity, and a 1000-lb capacity tilt bed.
Arctic Cat will become part of Textron’s Specialized Vehicles business, maintaining its Arctic Cat brand, as well as its current manufacturing, distribution and operational facilities, with a focus on growing the business.
