Honda Power Sports & Products, a business unit of American Honda Motor Co., Inc., has announced that it has taken an important step toward even greater generator safety by equipping its portable generators with an advanced version of its original CO-MINDER carbon monoxide (CO) detection and automatic shutoff system.

Honda has announced that its Super Quiet Series generators have met key emissions standards and are now on sale in California. Smart electronic fuel injection technology in both models increases fuel efficiency, eliminates the engine choke, and reduces fuel associated carburetor problems.
