Yanmar Helps Celebrate Atlanta Braves Championship at Savoy Automobile Museum

Yanmar America Corp., sponsor of the Atlanta Braves, the 2021 World Champions, joined the team at the Cartersville leg of their World Champions Trophy Tour Presented by Truist. The trophy was on display at the Savoy Automobile Museum June 9th. Visitors who came to view the trophy could also see historic automobiles from each of the years that the Braves had won a championship on display outside the museum, together with Yanmar tractors, UTVs and an excavator.

Toro Co. Awards $50K Grant in Recognition of Innovative Park Management

The Toro Urban Park Innovation Award, sponsored by The Toro Company, recognizes innovation in park management and practices and is presented in partnership with City Parks Alliance. The award is announced ahead of the Greater & Greener international urban parks conference and is one of the ways that the conference creates a lasting impact on the parks and community.

This year’s winner, the Fairmount Park Organic Recycling Center, recycles an average of 6,000 tons of organic waste from Philadelphia’s urban forests into usable products and community building projects like the pool gardens featured here. The Toro Award grant will help to sustain collaborative youth-driven programs that support a circular economy in Philadelphia.
