Sale of tractors by Mahindra & Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector continued to increase in May. Domestic sales in May 2011 stood at 17,952 units, as against 16,608 units for the same period last year, an increase of 8%.
Total tractor sales including domestic and exports in May 2011 stood at 18,892 units, as against 17,256 units for the same period last year, an increase of 9%. Exports for the month stood at 940 units vs.648 units for the same period last year, an increase of 45%.
