Milwaukee Tool aims to double its annual revenue to $20 billion by 2030, reports the Milwaukee Business Journal.
According to the Business Journal article:
“We want to double the size of our business in the next four years,” Tim Albrecht told a Waukesha County Business Alliance audience recently. “We’ve doubled every three years for the last 10 years. It’s been a heck of a journey and this (Waukesha County) has been a great place to invest.”
"The company has added about 3,500 jobs in southeast Wisconsin in recent years, while investing hundreds of millions in manufacturing and office space in the area, Albrecht said. Milwaukee Tool ranked third on the latest Milwaukee Business Journal list of largest area manufacturers with 4,300 local employees."
Double-digit sales growth would push the company's revenue from $9.7 billion in the recent reporting period to about $20 billion — although the company said that dollar figure is not an official goal, the paper reports. It goes on to say, "To achieve double-digit percentage revenue growth, Milwaukee Tool will need to generate annual increases of about $1 billion annually, Albrecht said in an interview after his remarks at the business event."
