King Kutter, Inc., a leading American manufacturer of agricultural implements, is proud to announce the appointment of Hunter Hughes as its new Director of Sales. With nearly 15 years of experience in the agricultural retail sector and deep-rooted ties to farming and rural life, Hughes brings a powerful combination of industry expertise, leadership, and passion to the role.

Hughes joins King Kutter following an accomplished career with Tractor Supply Company, where he most recently served as a District Manager in North Mississippi. His experience overseeing multiple retail locations and developing high-performing teams positions him well to lead King Kutter’s sales strategy and continued growth.

A lifelong advocate for agriculture and rural communities, Hughes is widely recognized for his strong commitment to people and his passion for serving others. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for developing teams, investing in individuals, and leading with integrity and accountability. He believes that strong relationships are the foundation of long-term success and takes pride in helping others grow both personally and professionally.

In addition to his professional leadership, Hughes is deeply involved in his local community and is known for his willingness to support others whenever needed. Whether mentoring team members, assisting customers, or volunteering his time, he consistently demonstrates a service-first mindset rooted in humility, hard work, and respect for others.

Raised with strong agricultural roots, Hughes remains actively engaged in farming and rural living today. Based near Tupelo, Mississippi, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, working on antique tractors, gardening, and raising animals.

His passion for agricultural equipment is evident in his hands-on pursuits, including restoring his late grandfather’s 1972 International 966—currently undergoing a full rebuild with a new motor and the addition of a turbo—as well as maintaining his own 1941 Farmall H. Even his young son shares that enthusiasm, already working alongside him on a 1966 Wheel Horse 856.

“Hunter’s deep understanding of our customers, combined with his proven leadership, enjoyment of old iron and genuine passion for agriculture, make him an outstanding addition to the King Kutter team,” said Randar Luts, CEO of King Kutter, Inc. “We are excited to have him lead our sales organization as we continue to serve farmers and landowners across the country through both the dealer and retailer network.”

“I am honored to join King Kutter, a company with such a strong legacy of quality and value in the agricultural industry,” said Hughes. “This brand represents the kind of durability and dependability that I’ve trusted personally for years. I look forward to building on that reputation and growing our reach with customers who depend on our equipment every day.”

Family-owned and proudly based in Winfield, Alabama since 1978, King Kutter has built a reputation for manufacturing high-quality, American-made farm implements including rotary cutters, finish mowers, tillers, and disc harrows. With over 45 years of experience, the company continues to serve farmers, landowners, and rural communities with dependable equipment at exceptional value.
