In April 2026, Cornerstone Equipment announced the opening of Sawgrass New Holland in Lakeland, Fla., and broke ground on a new headquarters in Dry Ridge, Ky., within 24 hours of each other, a milestone for this fast-growing New Holland dealer group.
Sawgrass New Holland will operate out of a 32,000-square-foot facility at 304 Winston Creek Parkway, featuring an indoor showroom, multiple service bays, a large parts inventory, and a customer lounge. The store will carry the full New Holland Construction lineup: compact track loaders, skid steers, excavators, articulating loaders and wheel loaders, alongside the complete New Holland Ag product line and a full Bad Boy dealership covering tractors, mowers, implements and handhelds. A soft opening is planned for May, with a grand opening set for July 2 of this year.
"We're incredibly excited to bring the New Holland Construction brand to Central Florida," said Brian Weisbaum, head of New Holland Construction North America. "As the first NHCE-forward branded dealership, Sawgrass sets the standard for how we engage the market and our customers."
Staffing the new location are Tyler Thompson as Sales Manager, JJ Courtney on the sales floor, Steven Summers overseeing service, and John Stunkard as Operations Manager, each of these internal moves from existing Cornerstone locations. The Aftersales Team will be one of the largest field service groups in the region, led by Summers.
“Now we’re looking for the next group of blue-collar pros — field and shop service technicians and parts experts — who are ready to grow with us and take pride in what they do," said Alicia Turner, Director of People Operations.
"With Sawgrass New Holland, we're taking our mission to Central Florida, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with contractors, landscapers, farmers and homeowners as they build their American dream," said Devin Ponder, Cornerstone Equipment President and CEO.
The Dry Ridge headquarters, meanwhile, will give Cornerstone's growing back-office and leadership team a purpose-built home. The facility includes offices for 25 staff members, a telematics control room, a training and conference center, multiple kitchens and a media garage. The company has been named a Top 20 Best Place to Work in Kentucky three years running.
"The better we can equip our team, the better they can equip our customers to succeed," added Ponder.
Cornerstone holds the #1 Retailing New Holland Construction dealership ranking in the U.S. and the #1 Multi-Store Bad Boy Tractor dealership title for 2025. The Lakeland location will operate one of the largest field service fleets in the Central Florida market, with technicians serving customers both on-site and in the shop. The Dry Ridge headquarters is expected to be complete later this year.
