Mahindra & Mahindra's Farm Equipment Sector (FES), a part of the U.S. $14.4 billion Mahindra Group, reports that domestic sales in January 2012 stood at 17,950 units vs. 19,430 units during January 2011.
Total tractor sales (domestic + exports) in January 2012 stood at 19,354 units compared with 20499 units for the same period last year. Exports for the month stood at 1,404 units, having registered a growth of 31%.
For the period April 2011 to January 2012, total cumulative sales stood at 202,723 units vs. 174,764 units for the same period last year, an increase of 16%.
