Waterworks Park will be transformed into an all-access, all-ability park that will allow children with wheelchairs and other challenges to play on specially-designed playground equipment. The project’s mission states, “We believe all children have unique abilities and should be provided an equal opportunity to enjoy Beaver Dam playgrounds with one another.” Completion of the project is anticipated for May, 2013.

Chris Frame, Scag’s Director of Marketing, says “I think it’s common for most of us to take our well-being and abilities for granted. For those who face physical challenges, simple things like playing at a park can be terribly difficult and frustrating. The Waterworks Park Project is a phenomenal undertaking to allow children of all abilities to play together and be carefree, as they should be. We at Metalcraft and Scag are extremely proud to support this wonderful project.”
