Officials with Kohler Power Systems, a division of Kohler-based Kohler Co., announced plans this week to add 300 workers at plants in Mosel and Saukville over the next few years following the completion of a 105,000-square-foot addition to the Mosel generator production plant in Sheboygan County.

David Kohler, president and chief operations officer, said the company's growing power generation business drove the expansion. Kohler Power Systems designs and manufactures power systems for industrial, business, construction, marine and residential customers.

The addition provides storage space for product parts and increases capacity, including 140 tons of crane capacity for loading large generators.
