BRAINERD, Minn. — Mills Fleet Farm, based in Brainerd, Minn., has put its retail operations up for sale, according to a story in the Journal Sentinel. The company operate 35 stores in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin and employes 6,000 people.
The Brainerd, Minn., company known by its orange and black logo, operates Milwaukee-area stores in Germantown and West Bend. The stores sell farm, hunting and home supplies.
Mills Fleet Farm began in 1955 and is in its third generation of family ownership.
