John Deere released its September retail sales comment on Oct. 12. The report compares Deere’s sales and inventory levels to the industry as a whole.
In Europe, Deere’s tractor sales were down double digits, but it’s combine sales were up double digits. Turf and utility equipment sales in North America were up double digits.
Deere’s sales were down more than the industry, but it’s inventory levels for both combines and 4WD tractors, were lower than the industry.
