BOSTON, Ga. — Ag-Pro announced today it has completed the acquisition of 5 John Deere dealership locations in South Texas — Brownsville, Harlingen, Mission, Raymondsville and Weslaco — all in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. These dealerships serve a diverse customer base that includes growers of cotton, sorghum, citrus, produce and sugar cane in addition to ranchers, landowners and landscapers, small acreage farms and residential customers. These locations previously operated under the name “Neuhaus & Co.,” which was in operation for over 40 years.

Just a month prior, Ag-Pro acquired one location in the Texas Hill Country of Fredericksburg, Texas, previously known as Fredericksburg Equipment. These acquisitions bring Ag-Pro’s store count to 17 in South Texas and 55 across the Texas and South Eastern regions.

“We look forward to continuing our expansion in Texas by acquiring dealerships in the Rio Grande Valley — one of the most sought-after agricultural regions in the country,” says James Groover, Ag-Pro’s chief executive officer. “The Rio Grande Valley is one of the few regions of the United States where crops are being grown 365 days per year.” Ag-Pro’s motto is “Strong on Service” and, with the expanding footprint, Ag-Pro is able to bring even more value to each one of its customers.
