Dealers are reaching out to young people entering the workforce as they struggle to find good employees. However, don't overlook workers who are older. By 2026, nearly 25% of the labor force will be 55 and older, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. (See the chart below.)
Consider reaching out to older workers to fill or even job-share some positions. And, see how your employee benefits program could be tailored to attract more potential employees in this age demographic.
