The Outdoor Power Equipment Institute (OPEI) has joined with multiple other industries as part of the National Foreign Trade Council to formally request the president not impose tariffs on imported steel and aluminum. The letter, co-signed by a diverse group of stakeholders, says global tariffs and quotas on imports of these products will injure the purchasers of these products and will lead to the loss of thousands of American jobs.
