ECHO is expanding its X-Series by adding the BRD– 620 bed redefiner and the PPF-2620 power pruner.

The BRD-2620 bed redefiner will replace the BRD-280. This new lighter, more powerful unit is for professional users who want to redefine flower or mulch beds. The BRD-2620 is 7 times faster than using a shovel and is lighter in weight than the walk behind bed redefining units. The 6-finger cutting steel claw utilizes carbide tipped steel for superior performance and durability. Some of the new key features include a two-ring piston, improved hot re-startability, and a two-stage air filter. The air filtration system has a foam pre-filter along with a pleated filter enclosed by a tool-less cover.

And also new, the powerful 25.4cc engine has been integrated into a fixed length pruner. This lightweight PPF-2620 power pruner with optimal cutting performance is targeted to arborists, landscapers and orchardists. The PPF-2620 features increased power and torque over the PPF-280. Features include a see-though oil tank with large opening for easy filling, rubber engine mount for reduced vibrations and rubber grip and a rubber sleeve for operator comfort. The main pipe is made of steel for added stiffness and strength, helping the 96 inch long pruner reach new lengths for the OPE industry.

“As we continue to add to the ECHO X Series, professional users will see that any product in this family is optimal for any job that comes their way,” says Wayne Thomsen, Vice President of Marketing.
