ST. LOUIS — The Equipment Dealers Assn. is pleased to announce the election of three new members to its Board of Directors.  Each director will serve a 3-year term that begins immediately and will attend the next board of directors meeting in November 2018.  The new directors are:

Mid-Atlantic — Ross Morgan works in Operations Management for H&R Agri Power, an 18 location Case IH, New Holland and Kubota dealership operating in Alabama, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Mississippi and Tennessee.  H&R Agri Power has been in business 60 years and has been a member of the Equipment Dealers Association for over 35 years. Morgan is a past president of the Kentucky and Kentucky/Indiana Equipment Dealer Associations.

Northeast — Brad Hershey is one of four on Hoober, Inc.’s third generation ownership & leadership team. The company was founded in 1941 by his grandfather.  Hoober is a nine store retail dealership representing Case IH/JCB/KUHN/Great Plains/Kubota, along with specialty lines, located in PA, DE, MD and VA.  Hershey started with Hoober in 1985 as a salesman in Delaware and was assigned store manager of Hoober’s third acquired location in Mifflintown, PA in 1996. 

Northwest — Daniel Jones is a partner in Frontline Ag Solutions, a John Deere Dealership with 10 locations throughout Montana.  Prior to joining Frontline in 2012, Daniel was a practicing attorney.  He completed his undergraduate education at Harvard followed by a J.D. and MBA from University of Montana.  Jones is currently the president of the Montana Equipment Dealers Assn. Board of Directors.

EDA would like to thank our three outgoing board members for their time and dedication to EDA and its dealer members over the past three years.  Morgan is replacing Brown Gwynn of Meade Tractor, Hershey is replacing Brian Carpenter of Champlain Valley Equipment and Jones is replacing Brion Torgerson of Torgerson’s.  Brian Carpenter will remain involved with the association as a member of the board of directors for the Equipment Dealers Foundation.
