Dan Booth, 66, of Crawfordsville passed away Monday, Aug. 30, 2021, at home, while surrounded by his loving family.

He was born Nov. 4, 1954, at Crawfordsville, to the late Richard Lee and Carolyn Sue (Owens) Booth. Dan graduated from Southmont High School in 1973 and attended Indiana State University of Evansville on a baseball scholarship, as the pitcher. On Sept. 7, 1974, he married the love of his life, Dee Gentry. He co-owned and operated Booth Machinery in Crawfordsville.

He was a member and former president of the United Equipment Dealers Association and a member of the Woodland Heights Christian Church where he served as an elder, youth group sponsor and high school Sunday school teacher. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and spending time with his grandchildren.  He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Dee; four children, Tiffany (Tom) Gay, Aaron (Eileen) Booth, Justin Booth and Katie Wiatt; six grandchildren, Colette, Damen, Declan, Logan, Andrew and Hunter; three brothers, Gary (Jill) Booth, Kenny (Libbie) Booth and Rick (Julie) Booth; three brothers-in-law, Dennis (Lisa) Gentry, Gary (Becky) Gentry and Jeff (Deb) Gentry; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; and daughter Andrea Sue “Annie” Booth.
