Platinum Equity announced April 3 the acquisition of a majority interest in Tarter Farm and Ranch Equipment from affiliates of the company’s founders.

The original family farm where Dixie Chopper was born is now the new (old) home for the assembly of mowers.

COSMOS, a current Stihl development partner and major supplier of mufflers, is headquartered in South Chicago Heights, Ill., and employs some 200 people in the development, production, and sale of muffler systems and stamped components for small and medium-sized engines.

Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners has acquired the John Deere Ag & Turf assets from McCoy Construction. 

Quality Equipment, a John Deere Ag & Turf dealer group, has purchased the assets of Gay Implement Company in Seaboard, NC. In addition, the Perry Family (owners of Gay Implement) reinvested into Quality Equipment, LLC, becoming one of the business' valued ownership partners.
