The Tractor Supply Company Foundation has donated $50,000 to the Red Cross Relief Fund to assist residents in the 6 impacted Midwest and Southern states. Additionally, Tractor Supply is supplying $50,000 in gift cards to stores in Kentucky and Tennessee to distribute to local organizations and shelters to purchase supplies.

Canada's National Capital Commission (NCC) announced it is banning the use of gas-powered small tools (leaf blowers, line trimmers, hedge trimmers and small chainsaws) on NCC lands — becoming the first jurisdiction in Canada to enact such a blanket policy.

Earlier this year, Tractor Supply set new sustainability goals to reduce carbon emissions, while committing to achieving net zero emissions in operations by 2040. Sourcing more green power for stores and distribution centers is the primary component of its Scope 2 emissions strategy. 

New York State Senator Pete Harckham introduced new legislation recently that requires all in-state sales of new lawn care and landscaping equipment, such as mowers, leaf blowers and trimmers, be zero emissions by 2027.
