The North American Equipment Dealers Association (NAEDA) announces that almost $100,000 was raised for the Equipment Dealers Foundation and the Canada Equipment Dealers Foundation at NAEDA’s 2024 annual North American Dealer Conference. 

The EDF matching scholarship program is designed to assist in the training, re-training or advancement of employees or potential employees of farm, construction, industrial and outdoor power equipment dealers, with the intent to create a larger pool of qualified, committed long-term employees for those dealerships.

Hershey is a partner in Case IH dealership Hoober, Inc. and previously served NAEDA as vice chair and as a director. The officer position elections took place at NAEDA’s summer board meeting held in Chicago, Ill.

Shane Wilker brings 35 years of experience in the agriculture aftermarket industry to the role. He will provide support to NAEDA's dealer members in the Pacific Northwest and Far West Regions.

The newly elected and re-elected directors serve the organization's Canada, Deep Southern, Far West and Iowa-Nebraska regions.

The survey also addressed the type of training that is preferred, and the training topics that need to be addressed in creating a high-performing dealership.

Kipp comes from the consulting world, where he was an advisor to the U.S. Navy’s Commander of Pacific Fleet as a member of the Commander’s Action Group and Government Affairs and Outreach teams.
